FAQs
Am I required to use the disaster restoration contractor my insurance company recommends?
No. You have the legal right to use the contractor of your choice. Some insurance companies participate in “programs” that use the services of disaster restoration companies under contract either directly with them or with a “program” company
Can I call you at night or on the weekend?
Yes. Our phone is answered 24/7, 365 days a year. Our employees rotate night/weekend/holiday stand-by duty so we can always have someone ready to respond to any emergency.
Do I need to wait until an insurance adjuster visits my property before I engage a disaster restoration contractor?
No. In fact your insurance company wants you to begin mitigation of fire, smoke or water damage as soon as possible to prevent further damage to your property. The sooner mitigation begins, the smaller the re-build portion of the claim will be. The fees for mitigation services are established by the insurance industry. The Jones Companies uses the same estimating software program used by most insurance adjusters so you don’t have to worry about being charged more for mitigation than the adjuster is willing to pay.
Do I need to get three bids?
No. The Jones Companies will mitigate and restore your home at a price your adjustor and we agree to.
I have a large deductible. Does The Jones Companies accept credit card payment for the deductible?
Yes. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover
Will you bill my insurance company?
Yes. Additionally, if there is a mortgage on your property we will as a courtesy, fill out all the forms required by your mortgage company.
